Position Overview LOOK CAPITAL is seeking a Vice President/Director, Investment Counsellor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is an experienced investment professional with a proven ability to manage client portfolios, offer tailored investment solutions, and play a leading role to the team's success. Key Responsibilities Strong producer and teamwork believer: able to cover own clients' portfolios independently as well as contribute to the team in other aspects
Provide investment advisory services and recommendations across multiple asset classes to clients
Service and develop clients by providing investment advice in a holistic approach through a combination of technical knowledge and a structured investment approach
Maintain investment dialogue with clients on understanding goals and objectives, developing and implementing overall investment plan
Identify product solutions for client needs, based on view of the market
Work in close partnership with the internal teams, including but not limited to relationship managers, specialists, product managers and developers Qualifications University degree holder in any discipline, with minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar investment advisory capacity (open to candidates with markets or asset management experience with strong investment experience)
Fluent in both Chinese and English is required in order to explain complex investment concepts for clients in both languages
Thorough knowledge of the full range of solutions and investment products and strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments
Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of UHNW clients in the region (private individuals and families)
Proven track record on investment management performance and ability to engage with China clients
Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment
Strong analytical and communication skills
