Job Description
Responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers
Carry out quality assurance checks and assist in training of junior team members
Optimize efficiency and effectiveness in work processes within the department
Underwrite Property & Casualty Classes of Insurance
Manage portfolio profitability growth
Build and maintain relationship with brokers
Develop and manage Broker Facilities
Ensure compliance with credit control policy
Undertake any other duties as may be assigned Qualifications
Tertiary qualification and /or professional insurance qualifications
Relevant qualifications in general insurance (minimum BCP & CGI)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in general insurance industry
Sound knowledge of general insurance (Property & Casualty classes)
Management Skills and Business acumen
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong marketing and portfolio management experience
Strong analytical skills
