Role Summary: We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Content & Campaigns Lead to lead the planning, moderation, and execution of impactful content and charity campaigns across our platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping our content ecosystem-from moderation to acquisition-and aligning it with user engagement, brand values, and broader organizational goals. This is not just a content role; it's a cross-functional leadership opportunity to drive purpose-driven campaigns, enhance user experience, and support revenue growth through strategic content planning, meaningful partnerships, and insight-driven execution. Responsibilities: 1. Content Governance & Moderation Lead the development and oversight of moderation policies, ensuring a safe, respectful, and value-aligned user experience across all platforms.
Manage and mentor the content moderation team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and responsiveness in moderation practices.
Identify and analyze content trends, risks, and user feedback to continuously improve moderation workflows and digital community standards.
Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Tech & Product, and Customer Support teams to ensure moderation aligns with compliance and user experience objectives. 2. Strategic Content Planning Design and manage a long-term content strategy and calendar that connects educational goals with culturally and spiritually relevant themes.
Partner with teams across Content, Product, Marketing and Design to deliver content experiences that are both impactful and user-centric.
Leverage performance data and user insights to continuously refine content for maximum relevance, engagement, and learning outcomes. 3. Content Acquisition & Partnerships Build and maintain strategic relationships with external content providers, educators, and scholars to source authentic Islamic content.
Curate high-quality materials, such as tafsir books, duʿā compilations, and age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring theological integrity and accessibility.
Identify content gaps and acquisition opportunities to support product growth and audience expansion. 4. Campaign Strategy & Execution (Charity Initiatives) Own the end-to-end strategy for seasonal and evergreen charity campaigns (e.g. Qurban, Ramadan, Winter Aid, Palestine Relief).
Develop annual roadmaps, launch strategies, and thematic narratives that resonate with audience motivations and humanitarian needs.
Align all campaign initiatives with organizational goals, donor expectations, and real-time global developments. 5. Cross-Functional Marketing Collaboration Work closely with Marketing and Creative teams to develop compelling storytelling, messaging, and visual assets for each campaign.
Ensure campaign narratives are consistent, emotionally resonant, and designed to maximize engagement, conversions, and impact.
Track campaign timelines, performance metrics, and audience feedback to inform iterative improvements. 6. Revenue Tracking & Strategic Reporting Collaborate with the Head of Department to set charity revenue and impact goals for each campaign.
Lead performance reviews using KPIs such as donor engagement, conversion rates, and fundraising outcomes.
Prepare insights-driven reports for internal stakeholders and external partners, recommending strategies for future growth. 7. Vendor & Fulfillment Oversight Coordinate with logistics partners and local vendors to ensure timely and transparent distribution of aid.
Implement rigorous documentation, reporting, and verification protocols to uphold accountability and donor trust.
Work to optimize operational efficiency, balancing cost, quality, and impact. 8. Organizational Alignment & Strategic Collaboration Partner with Product, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure campaigns and content initiatives are well-resourced, compliant, and strategically aligned.
Champion the organization's values of transparency, integrity, and compassion in all content and campaign initiatives. Requirements: 5-8 years of experience in content management, digital strategy, or campaign planning, preferably in an impact-driven or educational environment.
Strong understanding of Islamic content, education, and exposed to charity landscapes.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable impact.
Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
