**Automation Director (Studio Productions)**:
**Description**:
**Key responsibilities**
- Studio direct News & Current Affairs programmes in both automated and traditional galleries.
- This position is responsible for the execution of live studio programming using a Vizrt Mosart Automation system. The responsibilities include but are not limited to using studio equipment to build effects and templates for coding and execution of studio shows via Octopus rundowns.
- Co-ordinate with studio crew on duties needed to facilitate and execute an error-free production studio programming.
- Co-ordinate the planning and production of News and Current Affairs programmes output to ensure that editorial intentions are met and highest production standards maintained. You’ll be equipped with the right skills and new/developing tools to deliver high quality production.
- Work primarily in the studio but occasionally will be needed in the field for outdoor news broadcast.
- Enforce the compliance to the Error Tracking System from both the production and maintenance team.
**Key requirements**
- Minimum Diploma in relevant discipline
- A demonstrated ability to work without supervision in a high pressure environment is essential
- Good organizational and project management skills are necessary.
- Must be able to adapt to changes easily, allow for flexibility with the schedule and have strong attention to detail.
- Experience with studio production with a strong understanding of studio equipment include switchers and audio board will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in the English language and at least one other language (Chinese Tamil or Malay) would be an added advantage to understand the language of the programmes.
- A good team player and must be willing to work nights, on irregular shift including weekends and public holidays.
